We've spent years investing in quality trucking equipment to move your freight. While we use our assets to cover open loads, we tend to tie them to relationships first.
Derek Koza - CEO
The average reefer lifespan is 13 years. All trucks and reefer units WGOC utilizes are maximum 7 years old or newer.
Reefers come with an R factor (a measure of thermal resistance). The R factor of a reefer decreases exponentially every year it’s on the road. After 7 years, the average reefer is only 12% as effective as when it first hit the road.
Our new equipment combined with remote monitoring alerts for fast problem response times, often saves our clients huge claims. By utilizing a newer generation reefer unit, you are proactively maintaining the quality and integrity of your products and your customer experience. With Wellington, you can always expect your freight to be carried with quality equipment. This includes our reefer trailers and our refrigerated liftgate straight trucks.
See the European Commission, Preparatory study on Refrigerated Containers June 2020 or contact Reefer Sales for additional details.
