The average reefer lifespan is 13 years. All reefer units WGOC utilizes are maximum 7 years old or newer. 

WHY?

Reefers come with an R factor (a measure of thermal resistance). The R factor of a reefer decreases exponentially every year it’s on the road. After 7 years, the average reefer is only 12% as effective as when it first hit the road.
